OVERVIEW
A Shifting Market
The Mentholatum Company is a multi national consumer brands company that is best known for their skin care and eye drop products. They own globally recognized brand like Oxy Skincare, Hada Labo Tokyo, and Rohto Eye Drops.
Historically, these brands have been sold primarily in brick and mortar stores, but as consumer buying shifts to online purchasing, Mentholatum wanted to add online direct to consumer sales.
So, we built each brand a dedicated e-commerce store, complete with tracking and analytics. This allows us to build buyer profiles and actively advertise to new potential customers.
Beyond Digital
Being a retail focused company, Mentholatum was not set up to handle small direct to consumer shipments. Pallet and truckload quantities are the norm for them.
Since a number of our in-house brands here at Rycar Media are small, direct to consumer products, we partnered with Mentholatum to stock and ship these smaller shipments in our warehouse.
Not only do we manage the websites, online advertising, and reporting for Mentholatum. We also pick, pack, and ship orders for multiple brands direct to the end user.
As a result, we have expanded our services to include warehousing and fulfillment services for any company that needs it.
